Prop Firm Match Review Bounty Program

Prop Firm Match Review Bounty Program

Written by Angel

Verified trader reviews only mean something if they're genuine. Our Review Bounty Program gives traders a way to confidentially report firms that incentivize reviews, and get rewarded for it. If a prop firm has ever offered you a free account, payout, reset, discount, or waiver in exchange for shaping your review, this program is how you report it. This article covers what counts as incentivization, what doesn't, what evidence you'll need, and what happens after you submit a report.

What Counts as Incentivization

A firm is considered in breach of Prop Firm Match integrity standards if they engage in any of the following:

  • Solicitation for value: Requesting, encouraging, or conditioning a review, of any sentiment, in exchange for anything of monetary or operational value, including payouts, refunds, bonus accounts, fee waivers, or account upgrades. This applies regardless of whether the firm specifies what sentiment they want the review to have.

  • "Honest review" circumvention: Using language like "honest review," "unbiased feedback," or "your genuine opinion" to disguise an incentivized request doesn't exempt a firm from this policy. Any review solicited in connection with a benefit is still a violation, and using that kind of neutralizing language can actually count against the firm.

  • Review-gated services: Requiring a trader to submit a review, of any sentiment, as a precondition for receiving services like payout processing, account activation, challenge resets, progression advancement, or access to support and dispute resolution.

  • Withholding or retaliatory conditionality: Explicitly or implicitly tying the release of accounts, payouts, or any service a trader is otherwise entitled to, to that trader removing, modifying, or upgrading a negative review. This includes patterns where traders with negative reviews experience unusual service delays.

  • Reports must relate to a prop firm currently listed on Prop Firm Match. Reports concerning firms that are not listed on our platform are not eligible for the Review Bounty Program.

What Doesn't Count as a Violation

A few things are not considered violations on their own:

  • A firm reaching out to understand the basis of a complaint or negative review.

  • Offering goodwill gestures or remediation for a verified service failure, as long as no review action is requested as a condition.

  • A trader voluntarily updating their review after a resolved complaint, with no solicitation from the firm.

What You'll Need to Submit

To be eligible for a reward, your submission needs to include invoice numbers where applicable, dated communications (email or Discord) with official addresses clearly visible, and unredacted, unmodified proof of the incentivization offer. Submissions that don't meet this standard won't qualify for a payout.

Reports also need to relate to activity posted or announced within the last 30 days. Anything older than that at the time of submission won't qualify.

Reward Tiers

There are two reward tiers, depending on the strength of your report:

  • Tier 1, The Vanguard: The first 5 verified reporters with direct proof of an offer receive a Challenge Account matched to the size of the bribe offered. This reward must come from a Prop Firm Match partner firm, not the firm you're reporting.

  • Tier 2, The Witnesses: The next 5 verified reporters who provide supporting evidence that helps confirm manipulation receive 1,000 Loyalty Points.

Rewards are subject to verification, and Prop Firm Match reserves the right to withhold rewards pending the due process period described below.

What Happens After You Report

Once the first five reports against a firm are verified, Prop Firm Match will internally flag the firm as "Under Review" and place its new reviews on hold, publicly announce the bounty payout while protecting the whistleblower's identity, and issue the firm a 48-hour Right of Reply. If the firm admits fault, that results in a 30-day review hold; an inadequate or absent response can lead to suspension of the firm's offers or permanent delisting. Whether specific conduct actually constitutes a violation is determined solely by Prop Firm Match, based on the full context, including communications, timelines, payout records, and behavioral patterns.

Anti-Fraud: The Three-Strike Rule

Submission integrity matters just as much as reporting integrity. Anyone who submits falsified, fabricated, or manipulated evidence receives a strike. Three strikes result in a permanent ban from the Review Bounty Program and may escalate to platform-level action. Submitting fake evidence to collect a reward is a serious violation and can result in permanent disqualification from Prop Firm Match services entirely.

Your Privacy

Your name and email are used only to process your submission and issue rewards where applicable. You'll be asked separately whether you consent to your identity being shared with the reported firm if they request it during the due process period, and you can decline that without affecting your eligibility. Prop Firm Match will not publicly disclose your identity.

How to Submit a Report

If you've spotted an incentivized review, you can submit a confidential report directly through the Review Bounty Program page by clicking Begin Report. It takes about 5 minutes. If you have questions about the program before reporting, reach out to our team via Live Chat or at [email protected].
