Choosing between two prop firms often comes down to details that are scattered across different pages, profit splits, fees, drawdown rules, payout history, and more. The Compare Firms tool pulls all of that into one side-by-side view, so you can pick any two firms and get a full head-to-head breakdown, complete with AI-driven verdicts, in seconds. This article covers how to run a comparison and what you'll see once you do.
How to Compare Two Firms
On the Compare Firms page, select your two firms using the Firm A and Firm B dropdowns, then click Compare Now to generate the breakdown.
If you'd rather skip picking firms manually, the Popular Comparisons section below the selector gives you quick access to commonly compared matchups, grouped by firm (for example, FundedNext Comparisons, FundingPips Comparisons, and The5ers Comparisons). Just click any comparison chip to jump straight to that side-by-side analysis.
What You'll See in a Comparison
Once you run a comparison, you'll get a full breakdown organized into a few sections:
Firm summaries: Each firm's rating, number of reviews, minimum trading days, and supported platform, along with a View Challenges button to go straight to that firm's offers.
Quick comparison highlights: A snapshot of the most-compared metrics side by side, including profit split, max allocation, challenge fee (based on a 100K, 2-step challenge), and total PFM reviews.
Head-to-head breakdown: A full table comparing both firms across profit split, max allocation, challenge fee, challenge steps, daily loss limit and type, max loss limit and type, minimum trading days, payout frequency, supported platforms, news trading rules, EA/algo trading rules, and scaling plan availability. Wherever one firm has the edge on a specific metric, it's marked BEST so you can spot the differences at a glance.
Earnings calculator: Estimate your monthly take-home for each firm based on a chosen account size and expected monthly return, so you can see how the numbers actually play out rather than just comparing percentages.
AI-driven verdicts: A written summary explaining the main difference between the two firms, along with a set of related questions you can expand, such as which firm has the lower challenge fee, which offers the better profit split, which gets you funded faster, and how their drawdown rules differ.
You can also share any comparison directly using the Share button, handy if you're weighing your options with a friend or discussing it in a trading community.
Comparing firms this way gives you a clearer, apples-to-apples view before you commit to a challenge. We'd still recommend pairing a comparison with a firm's verified reviews and full rules page for the complete picture.
