How to Find the Account You're Looking For on Prop Firm Match

Written by Angel

With thousands of challenges across dozens of prop firms listed on Prop Firm Match, finding the exact account that fits your budget and trading style can feel overwhelming. This article walks through the different ways you can search, filter, and compare accounts on the platform so you can land on the right one faster.

Use the Challenges Page

The Challenges page is the best place to start when you're comparing specific accounts side by side. At the top of the table, you'll find quick filter chips for Assets (Forex, Futures, or Crypto), Size (e.g., $100K), and Steps (e.g., 2 Steps), along with toggles for Apply Discount and Popularity.

For more granular control, click Filter in the upper corner of the table to open the full filter panel, which lets you narrow results by:

  • Instruments

  • Extra Account Promo

  • Firms

  • Daily Drawdown Type

  • Max Loss Type

  • Advanced Filtering

  • Features

  • Brokers

  • Platforms

  • Countries

You can combine as many of these as you need to zero in on the right account, and click Reset Filter at any time to start over.

Each column in the table, including Firm/Rank, Account Size, Steps, and the rest, can also be sorted from highest to lowest or lowest to highest. Just click the up and down arrow icon beside the column name to reorder the table based on that field. Each row shows key details at a glance, including profit target, daily loss and max loss limits, profit split, payout frequency, and price, so you can compare accounts without having to visit each firm's site individually. There's also a search bar within the Challenges table if you already know the firm you're looking for.

Browse the Offers Page

If you're shopping by discount first, the Offers page is a quick way to find an account. Choose a firm you like, click Apply on the promo you want, and you'll be taken to that firm's page where you can pick the specific challenge and click Buy.

Filter Firms in the Reviews Section

If you'd rather choose a firm based on real trader experiences first, the Reviews section lets you filter by things like account size, number of challenge steps, asset type, and the trading experience level of the reviewer, so you can find a firm that fits both your budget and your trading style, backed by verified feedback.

Take the Challenge Finder Quiz

Not sure where to start at all? The Challenge Finder Quiz walks you through a short series of questions about your trading style, budget, and asset class, then emails you a personalized summary of your matches so you can review them anytime.
