Why are trades not copying to my slave account?

Copy Trading Error

Written by Daniel umahi

If trades are not copying to your slave account, here are some possible reasons and troubleshooting steps:

  • Incorrect Settings: Ensure that the slave account is correctly linked and configured to receive trades from the master account. Check the copy settings for accuracy.

  • Account Status: Verify that your slave account is active and not restricted or in violation of any platform rules.

  • Mapping Errors: Verify that you have the correct instrument mappings for your server.

  • Insufficient Margin: If the slave account does not have enough margin to open the copied trades, they may not execute.

  • Instrument Restrictions: Confirm that the instruments being traded on the master account are supported and available on the slave account.

  • Platform or Broker Latency: Delays or connectivity issues with your broker/platform can affect the copying process.

  • Connection Issues: Ensure that your internet connection is stable, as unstable connections can interrupt trade copying.

  • Synchronization Error: Double-check that the master and slave accounts are properly synchronized in the PF1 system.

Common fixes:

  • Ensure both master and slave accounts are connected and online.

  • Check symbol Mappings (e.g., EURUSD vs. EURUSD.pro).

  • Verify no conflicting EA/script is blocking trades on the slave account.
