Leverage is determined by the broker or prop trading firm linked to your PF1 account.
While you cannot increase your leverage beyond the default level set by your broker or prop firm, you do have the flexibility to reduce it if you wish to manage your risk more conservatively.
If you would like to lower your leverage, you can do so through PF1’s built-in Risk Management Tool, which allows you to set a custom leverage ratio that aligns with your trading strategy and risk tolerance.
To adjust your leverage:
Go to Risk Management.
Click Edit.
Enter your desired leverage.
Click Update to save your changes.
